Attend an Orientation session - we usually hold them on the 2nd weekend of the month September through May. Prospective cadets can also spend a day with our unit. In summer we host info meetings monthly via Zoom.

Download the Nine One One Division Cadet Handbook and the enrollment packet. (PDF, Word Doc). Complete and submit an enrollment packet. Enrollment requires a physical by your doctor (similar to a sports physical), a photo of a cadet, and several forms.

Pay enrollment fees. New Cadet Enrollment Fee is $365. Re-enrollment Fee is $135. These fees cover administration fees and uniforms.
Requirements to join
Must be a US citizen (no waivers available)
To join, you must be at least 10, but not yet 18 years old.
Complete a physical examination: A medical examination similar to a school sports physical is required for all cadet applicants to the Naval Sea Cadet Corps (NSCC) or Navy League Cadet Corps (NLCC).
No one will be denied admission to the NSCC/NLCC due to a medical disability. Where a medical condition precludes full, unlimited participation, a Request for Accommodation may be presented by the parent or guardian for review so the cadet may participate in NSCC activities to the maximum extent possible.
Must be satisfactorily enrolled in a public or private school or a certified home school program.
Be of good moral character and free of any felony convictions. Has to commit to 75% attendance and plan to attend at least two training courses (Recruit Training or Leaguer Orientation plus an advanced training) in the first year.
