Sea Cadets Pack Hope: Fighting Hunger with Feed My Starving Children!

Last night, our Sea Cadets set sail on a mission of service, teaming up with Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) for an impactful meal-packing event!

Leading the charge were Cadets Emery, Stanford, and the Obioha siblings, joined by our amazing volunteers: LTJG Lena Burkut, Chief William Stanford (Ret.), Ms. Stanford, Ms. Emery, Ms. Obioha, and our youngest helper, Ethan. Together, this dedicated team packed six boxes of MannaPack meals.

Each box contains 36 packets of MannaPack meals, with each packet providing 6 to 12 servings. That means one box can feed 216 to 432 people a single meal or provide enough food for a small family for weeks. Altogether, the six boxes packed by our team can provide up to 2,592 servings of nutritious meals—making a real difference for those in need.

Through their efforts, the cadets not only contributed to the fight against hunger but also embodied the values of compassion, teamwork, and service. We’re incredibly proud of this amazing crew for their dedication to making a global impact! 🌍💙
