On Sunday, October 16, cadets of the USNSCC 9-1-1 Division participated in the annual Navy Mile run. The local run was a part of the Nationwide event hosted by The Navy Mile on Pennsylvania Avenue and sponsored by National Capital Council of the Navy League.
The Navy Mile is sponsored annually by the National Capital Council of the Navy League and celebrates the U.S. Navy’s birthday while raising funds for our charitable partners (U.S. Naval Sea Cadets, Navy Safe Harbor Foundation, and the C4 Foundation).
This one-mile run through Anacostia Park is a great way to enjoy the beauty of our nation’s capital while supporting our sea services. Bring the entire family out for a morning of fun!
9-1-1 Division Virtual Mile took place in the Hawthorn Melody Park in Vernon Hills with 10 cadets and three siblings participating. After the event, cadets enjoyed some treats.
